About the event

Join us throughout December and Januart in our twelve seat movie theatre, for the Canadian Premiere of Wilfrid, a ten minute short film Directed by Stratford native Samuel G. Davey and starring actors Marion Adler, Seana McKenna, and John Dolan. The film (based on the best-selling Australian children's book Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge and filmed here in Stratford Ontario,) is a heartwarming story that explores dementia, memories, and the relationship between children and the elderly. 

All screenings are free to attend thanks to the generousity of RT04 in connection with Lights on Stratford. Screenings will occur throughout the length of the Lights On Festival, Wednesday to Sunday, at:

10:00 AM

1:00 PM

4:00 PM

7:00 PM

9:00 PM (this slot can't be guaranteed.)

As well as the free screenings, and In collaboration with Samuel G. Davey and Lights On, the Little Prince Cine-Lounge will feature an art installation in our large front windows which ask you to explore the question “what is a memory?” A comments book will be on hand for you to write your own answer in response to this question.

The Lights On Festival, with installations scattered throughout Stratford, is open to the Public and runs nightly 5-10 PM including Christmas and New Years.

The "culture cab" will be running during this event and will be avalible to take you to all lights on events including the one right across the street in Market Square. As well as a free shuttle bus.

Lights On Stratford works in partnership with local charitable organizations each year to provide fundraising potental and increase awareness. this year they are pround to support Alzheimer Society-Huron Perth. please consider donating.

The Little Prince Lobby Lounge and fully stocked concession will be open daily and fresh movie theatre popcorn, soft drinks, house made cotton candy, wine, beer, and sparkling wine will be available.

Washrooms are located on site and are available to the public. One washroom is wheelchair accessible and includes a change table.
